Sponsorships
In 1999 the EVMWD Board of Directors established the Sponsorship Program with the objective of educating the public regarding our role in the community. Unclaimed deposit funds from district customers were used to establish the sponsorship account and a policy was written. The program was also expanded to include the distribution of bottled water for community events and sponsorships.
The Legislation, Conservation and Outreach Committee (LCOC), comprised of two EVMWD Board members, meets once a month, to review sponsorship requests.
All sponsorship requests must be received by the 10th of the month for consideration in that month.
Sponsorship requests normally take 6-8 weeks to process.
Community organizations can apply once per calendar year for sponsorships, either money or bottled water. Community organizations supported include:
- Chambers of Commerce
- Churches
- Community Events
- Local Clubs
- School Programs
- Sports Clubs and Boosters
To apply for a sponsorship, you must complete the Sponsorship Form and demonstrate that residents within EVMWD’s service area will directly benefit from the contribution. Appropriate EVMWD recognition must be provided either through a program, ad, banners, table top signs or advertisement. Apply online now!
