Near Term Water Supply Program Continues with Lee Lake Wells Project

By February 26, 2024No Comments

LAKE ELSINORE, CA – Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District (EVMWD) is taking steps to secure its water supply for the future with the Near Term Water Supply Program. The program is designed to expedite several water supply projects that will ultimately provide a local, sustainable water supply for our growing region. The Lee Lake Wells Project is expected to begin construction in late February 2024 and last approximately 14 months. The Lee Lake Wells drilling project was completed in 2022. This second phase of the project involves construction of the well facilities, installation of the well equipment and water treatment systems, and pipeline connections to the Temescal Canyon transmission pipeline. Construction will take place at the well site located near Temescal Canyon Road and Horsethief Canyon Road in the city of Corona.

Construction will take place Monday through Friday, from 7:00am – 4:00pm. The community can expect increased truck and/or equipment traffic, lane restrictions and minor traffic delays, along with noise, dust and vibrations near the project site.

For more information, please visit www.evmwd.com, call our Construction Hotline at (800) 284-4808 or email leelake@evmwd.net. Messages received after normal business hours will be returned between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday – Friday.
