LAKE ELSINORE, CA. — As part of California’s annual Water Professionals Appreciation Week, taking place October 7 – October 15, Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District (EVMWD) is proud to take a moment and highlight the essential role of water professionals and local public water agencies in providing water and wastewater services.

“EVMWD is excited to participate in Water Professionals Appreciation week.  It allows us an opportunity to thank staff for their ongoing dedication to ensure that our community has safe and reliable water and wastewater services 24/7,” said EVMWD General Manager, Greg Thomas.

Now more than ever, with a hotter and drier climate interspersed with periods of extreme weather, EVMWD is proud to share the important role our essential workers play in making sure our communities have safe and reliable water.

From district managers, customer service representatives, water treatment operators and engineers, there are many careers in this industry that help keep water flowing in communities throughout California. EVMWD is proud of all water professionals throughout the state, especially the EVMWD staff, for making a difference in their community.

If you see an EVMWD employee out and about this week, we encourage you to say “thank you” for ensuring our community has safe and reliable water and wastewater services. Be sure to follow EVMWD on social media for more information about our amazing staff, the essential role they each play, and how you might consider a job in California’s water industry.
