EVMWD update on water discoloration ![]()
We are aware that some customers in Temescal Valley reported discolored tap water. The health and safety of our customers is our top priority. Tests indicate this discoloration is due to a higher content of minerals from a local well, which was shut off on April 29. Please be assured that water testing confirms the water is safe for drinking and bathing. It may take several days for the water clarity to return to normal as the system continues to flush. We understand this situation is inconvenient and want to assure you that our team is doing everything possible to address this aesthetic issue quickly.
