Did you know that much of the water provided by Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District begins its journey in the Sierra Nevadas? 🏔️ ![]()

Your water travels a remarkable 705 miles through the State Water Project’s canals, tunnels, and pipelines, and uses multiple forms of pumping stations to reach Southern California. From there, it moves through additional pipelines to our region. We also enhance our water supply with locally sourced groundwater, which helps keep costs lower. It's all part of a vast network dedicated to delivering safe and reliable water to you! 🚰
As a reminder, the Canyon Lake Water Treatment Plant is currently offline, and no water from this source is being distributed to homes. ![]()

This was a great opportunity for staff to highlight the essential roles they serve and show their kids the endless opportunities that are available with working in the water industry. 💧 ![]()

We had a total of 46 kids sign up for this fun-filled day, to learn about the wastewater process, preventative maintenance to maintain our infrastructure, hands-on water education activities and some even got to experience a real board meeting!![]()
