EVMWD To Perform Critical System Upgrades Impacting Canyon Hills, Canyon Lake and Tuscany Hills

By October 23, 2024No Comments

Lake Elsinore, CA – Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District (EVMWD) will install new valves on a key water pipeline that serves Canyon Hills, Canyon Lake, and Tuscany Hills to prevent future water outages. The maintenance work will take place from 5 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25.
EVMWD is asking residents to limit water use to essential activities during this time. Non-essential water use, such as outdoor irrigation, should be delayed until after 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 25.

“This upgrade strengthens our water system and ensures reliable service around the clock,” said Greg Thomas, EVMWD general manager. “The installation of these valves will help prevent future outages. We appreciate residents’ patience and cooperation during this essential work.”
EVMWD sent robocalls on Oct. 22 and 23 to inform residents about the water conservation request.

For questions, call EVMWD at 951-674-3146, ext. 8218. EVMWD appreciates residents’ support in ensuring a consistent water supply.
