Tomlin Pipeline Replacement Project

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

In March 2025, Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District (EVMWD) will begin construction on the Tomlin Pipeline Replacement Project. The project will replace approximately 5,100 feet of aging watermains, install fiber optic conduit for improved communication, and improve access roads. The new pipeline will enhance water reliability while reducing the risk of leaks, corrosion, contamination and low water pressure. The project is expected to be completed by January 2026.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING CONSTRUCTION

The community may experience the following during construction:

  • Normal construction hours are Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Property access will remain available.
  • Expect increased truck and equipment traffic, lane restrictions and minor traffic delays, along with noise, dust and vibrations near the project site.
  •  Temporary water service interruptions may be necessary to connect the new pipeline. Residents may be temporarily asked to reduce water use during select times. Advanced coordination and notice will be provided to impacted properties.

COMMUNICATION IS IMPORTANT TO PROJECT SUCCESS

For additional information, please call our Construction Hotline at 800-284-4808 Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., or email TomlinPipeline@EVMWD.net.
