EVMWD is set to begin construction on a new sewer lift station near Diamond Stadium at Malaga Road and Elm Street in October 2024. This project also includes the installation of approximately 3,400 feet of parallel sewer pipelines along Elm Street. Once completed, the lift station will handle up to 6.6 million gallons of wastewater per day, improving the system’s capacity to meet future growth and reduce odors by downsizing existing lift stations.
Project goals:
- Improve regional infrastructure
- Meet future growth
- Eliminate and downsize existing lift stations to reduce odors
- Ensure the new lift station is operational before the Sedco Hills septic-to-sewer project is commissioned
We understand construction can be inconvenient. Work will occur Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. excluding holidays.
