The mission of the Customer & Meter Services Department is the:
"Commitment to the efficient use of our resources to provide the highest quality service delivered with a sense of respect, compassion and fiscal responsibility, which is the expectation of those we serve."
Customer & Meter Services is responsible for installation of new meters, maintenance of existing meters, completion of field service inquiries, meter reading, preparing monthly statements, processing payments, establishing & discontinuing service, maintaining customer billing accounts and responding to customer inquiries.
The department is staffed by a 22-member, professionally trained team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional service to all the rate payers of the District.
